Finn Fest is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Brown Paper Tickets is a data processor because our service offers a ticketing and registration system for Event Organizers to sell tickets or admission, and collect data about their attendees to admit and communicate with ticket buyers or event attendees. Brown Paper Tickets is a data controller because the information provided by Event Organizers, ticket buyers, and attendees is stored with Brown Paper Tickets to record payment transactions and attendee information.
1. Collection of Personal and Financial Information
We use, store, and process information, including personal information, about you to provide, understand, improve, and develop the Brown Paper Tickets website and services, create and maintain a trusted and safer environment, and comply with our legal obligations.

Where you have provided consent, we share your information with the specific Event Organizer of the event you purchase tickets to or register for. When you purchase a ticket, your personal contact information will be provided to the Event Organizer. Brown Paper Tickets has no control over what an Event Organizer does with your information, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices or actions the Event Organizer takes outside of the Brown Paper Tickets system. Additionally, Event Organizer may choose to use analytic tools or click-through tracking from their event pages.
3.2 Event Organizer Public Profiles, Event Listings, and Other Public Information
The Brown Paper Tickets website lets you list events to sell tickets or register attendees. The events you list are viewable by the public, and include information you provide, such as name and contact information, which is visible to your attendees, potential attendees, and the general public. Publicly visible information may be "scraped" or indexed through third party tools or search engines. Brown Paper Tickets does not control the practices of third parties accessing your public-facing information.
3.3 Compliance with Law, Responding to Legal Requests, Preventing Harm and Protection of Our Rights

For example, if we suspend a Brown Paper Tickets account for fraud or safety reasons, we may retain certain information from that account to prevent the opening of a new Brown Paper Tickets account in the future.
